Hey everybody, first off let me say that this post was supposed to go up yesterday, but summer days have been blending together and it wasn’t until I checked my phone at 1 am that I realized the day. However you’ll still be getting a post tomorrow from me! So has anyone else started to have their summer days bleed together? This seems to happen to me every summer, after playing video games for some astronomical number I begin to think back and realize I’m not sure if I beat that certain boss on a Monday or a Tuesday. Luckily we live in an age were all I have to do is look down at check my phone at least once to reconfirm the date, that’s a big if if my nose is buried in a TV screen. That phone only places me in the here and now though, it leaves me with no idea of the past, can’t help me properly piece together the correct timeline of the last two weeks, but I know it was fun, and I know I’m having fun, so that should be enough this summer.
So what have you been doing this summer? Some people have work, some take summer school, others (like me) have nothing to do. Are you doing what you want to do this summer? Has anything memorable already happened? Have the days started to bleed together?
Let me know down below, also to my fellow college students don’t forgot class registration. And so with a tip of my hat I shall depart WordPress. I’ll see you all again, tomorrow!
What’s up everybody, hope everyone is getting ready for tomorrow’s July 4th. Who doesn’t like fireworks and food? Those are some of the first few things I think of when I picture America. We love explosions (after all Michael Bag is still around) and we love to eat whether it’s healthy or not. I think it’s hard to be an American and not be either an explosion fan or a foody.
Everyone seems to have their own traditions around this time of the year, and that’s part of what makes tomorrow a holiday in America. Normally the only holidays that have traditions are Christmas, thanksgiving, etc. but really all of our holidays are built around the tradition, after all those holidays all have something that is normally done as part of a tradition, even if it’s just celebrating the day with fireworks and beer.
So everyone have a good Fourth of July! Enjoy the fireworks in the sky and the food on the grill. Relax under the setting sun and listen to freedom inspiring music as loud explosions go off and we stuff our selfs full. Let me know below if you have any Fourth of July traditions, something your family always does or maybe something you only choose to make on the fourth? Have a good one everybody and I’ll see you Sunday for the weekend edition!
What’s up everybody! Looked at the clock tonight and realized it was about to be Tuesday and I owed you all a post!
How’s life going everybody? Hope your weekend was epic, mine was the same old thing. Here in LA it’s been hot! Basically I start to melt if I even leave the cone of air the fan provides. It’s not that it’s super hot outside (some days it is) my house just doesn’t let any of the hot air out. It’s like suffocating!
No one likes the feeling of warm air suffocating them! Especially not me, don’t know about you but I would rather be cold then hot. It just seems easier to get warm when you are cold then cold when you are hot! Maybe you think I’m crazy for liking the cold more but if you like the heat you must be crazier then me! One thing I can tell you about heat after living in Florida for ten years is that it can drive people crazy!
Its hard to beat the heat is all I’m saying, in the end if you are cold all you have to do is grab another blanket or put on some more clothes. If you want to get cool while the world is on fire around you all you can really do is sit in front of a fan and hope it can overcome the heat.
Well that’s my rant about the heat, obviously it’s getting to my head. Let me know what you prefer, the icy chill of the cold or the burning heat of the sun! See you in two more days!
What’s up everybody Viggy here coming to you live! So I have been pondering for awhile what type of publishing schedule I’d like to keep. It’s taken a lot of thought but I have decided to post a blog every other day. This way even if my post ends up falling on a Saturday or a Sunday (depending on the week) it will be the weekend edition. This wanting to keep a schedule is for a couple of reasons, first I do plan and wish to become some form of professional writer, and part of that is dealing with things like deadlines! Second I want to get a set schedule out so that those who do follow me can expect my dose of randomness every other day, such a convenient and orderly method for this blog about nothing and everything.
So besides that small announcement the rest of this is to those of you who happen to stop in regularly. I know there has got to be at least one of you! Don’t be afraid or shy to comment below, hell if you went back and commented on the last two weeks of posts I’d be impressed and surprised! This reason for asking for you comments is for the feedback. First off I don’t know if all of you have noticed yet but I don’t have an editor, I write the post and just hit publish, I’m terrible I know! So point out my slip ups, my typos, and all those things, but don’t just stop there! Maybe there is a topic you would like me to open my mind up about, maybe a story you’re interested in getting my perspective on. Comment and let me know anything you feel like sharing, I’m often looking fit topics to talk about so keep me posted!
Alright everybody, that’s the post for today, just an update on direction and me phishing for comments, have a good one and stay classy San Diego!
